
This educational
program consists of four "hands on" stations that are designed to be adjusted
for individual age groups.

Live
baby animals will come for a visit the animals include:
goats, sheep, rabbits, chicks, ducks, and a baby pig. We will
supply baby wipes and hand sanitizer as directed by the USDA.

The
“Ins and Outs of a Cow” includes a 4 foot by 8 foot cow display with life size
containers showing much a cow drinks, eats, and goes to the bathroom in a single
day. Did you know that each cow
gives eight gallons of milk a day?
What products can be made from eight gallons of milk? These questions and much
more will be answered as your students experience the “Ins and Outs of Cow”.

Life cycle of a bean plant: Your
students will hear a story about a boy who goes on an important journey for the
king and how he grows his own food for the journey.
Students will see all the different stages in the life of a bean plant.

What
can you make from corn: Students
will learn that corn is not just for eating. The following is just a short list
of the non-edible things made from corn:
glue, paste antibiotics, ethanol, spark plugs, tires, batteries, ink,
cosmetics, crayons and the list goes on.
Each student will shell an ear of corn and take the corn home for a
souvenir.
This program is
designed to take place out side on a good weather day, however if you have room
inside we can make adjustments to hold the program indoors.
