cow education·        The “Ins and Outs of a Cow” includes a 4 foot by 8 foot cow display with life size containers showing much a cow drinks, eats, and goes to the bathroom in a single day.  Did you know that each cow gives eight gallons of milk a day?  What products can be made from eight gallons of milk? These questions and much more will be answered as your students experience the “Ins and Outs of Cow”.

·        Life cycle of a bean plant:  Your students will hear a story about a boy who goes on an important journey for the king and how he grows his own food for the journey.  Students will see all the different stages in the life of a bean plant.

·        What can you make from corn:  Students will learn that corn is not just for eating. The following is just a short list of the non-edible things made from corn:  glue, paste antibiotics, ethanol, spark plugs, tires, batteries, ink, cosmetics, crayons and the list goes on.  Each student will shell an ear of corn and take the corn home for a souvenir.

This program is designed to take place out side on a good weather day, however if you have room inside we can make adjustments to hold the program indoors.
